Hi! I’m McKenna and I’m so excited to welcome you here! My journey has been shaped by a deep passion for holistic wellness and an unwavering belief in the power of connection. I graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Nutrition, and alongside my studies, I served an 8-year enlistment in the Army. This unique blend of experiences has profoundly influenced my approach to skincare, grounding it in both science and a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection.

At Cosmic Glow, I believe true skin health transcends the surface. Our skin reflects our inner well-being, shaped by the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual elements of our lives. My goal is to help you feel deeply connected to both your skin and your inner self, creating a sense of balance and harmony through each treatment.

I wholeheartedly believe in divine timing. Every client who walks through my doors is guided here for a reason, and I’m beyond grateful that the universe has brought us together. The community we’re building, especially among the incredible women I’ve come to know, is something I deeply cherish. My Journey

FINDING LOVE IN ACNE & BECOMING A SKINCARE EXPERT

I have struggled with acne since I turned 21, and I understand firsthand the mental, emotional, and physical toll it takes. At its worst, my acne sent my self-esteem plummeting to an all-time low. It led me to avoid anything that previously brought me joy—it consumed my life. I went through countless dollars on the wrong products, multiple rounds of antibiotics, and harsh prescriptions, but things only seemed to worsen.

In the midst of this personal struggle, I made a pivotal decision.

I decided to understand why this was happening to me.

It was during this journey that I discovered esthetics and became an acne expert! I now have a deeper understanding that the prescriptions I was given were only addressing my acne from one aspect but never truly addressed the root cause. Acne is multi-faceted and cannot be cured, however it can be maintained with the right homecare, treatments, and life-style choices! I'm incredibly grateful for my acne now because it ultimately led me to this fulfilling path where I am fortunate enough to heal so many clients like myself.

I believe things happen for a reason and when the timing is right. Well, I can say I am more than ready to share this journey of healing and self-care with all of you! First off, here’s a little bit about me:

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. I’ve been a hairstylist for many years, but in 2020, I decided to attend several esthetician courses and dive deeper into the world of skincare. I know that sometimes our skin isn’t perfect like it may seem on social media, and I’ve personally struggled with acne and self-image for many years. This has inspired me to help others with their skin and boost their confidence!

In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts, thrifting, or taking nature walks. I’ve always been more on the artsy side and still love doing crafts, playing my guitar or ukulele. I once tried to play soccer in elementary school, but after accidentally kicking the ball into the other team’s goal, I said, “Nope, never again.” I love art, and I truly believe that transforming the skin is a form of art as well.

With that being said, I feel so lucky to be where I am now, here at Cosmic Glow Aesthetics. I am very excited to meet you and help get your skin looking out of this world!
